“My last insurance plan was terrible. I was billed hundreds of dollars for routine care and had many prescriptions denied by the carrier. I’m beyond thrilled to have Regence BlueCross BlueShield.”
-Brian R.N.
Last fall, the Essential Worker Healthcare Trust launched its first ever open enrollment for long-term care employees in facilities across the state. The goal was to make sure as many people as possible knew about and were able to enroll in this new, affordable healthcare plan.
1,919 long-term care workers signed up with 821 of their family members, and workers like Brian are already starting to feel the benefits of cost-savings and improved care with their new plan. And we expect enrollment to grow in 2023.
“This means I can address pertinent health concerns and have routine monitoring completed to ensure my health and well-being.”
To sign up these nearly 3,000 enrollees, we partnered with SEIU 503 and responsible long-term care employers to launch an outreach campaign to get the word out. Maybe you got a text, a phone call, an email, or spoke with us at your workplace – maybe all four!
460 Phone Calls
1,530 Text Messages
40 Facility Visits
